ATV FUN!

Waynoka, Oklahoma
The dunes were created over 11,000 years ago from terrace deposits and well-sorted quartz left by the Cimarron River when it flowed across this area during the Pleistocene Age. This makes for extremely fine quartz sand AND A SUPER GOOD TIME!!

I Tried It! Sugar Scrub that's easy to make!!

Hi guys!!  I gave this scrub a try and it's better than anything I've ever bought. Not only do my hands smell wonderful, they are soft, hydrated and not even a little bit greasy.

Want to try?

Here's the recipe

You'll need:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (I think white sugar would work too)
  • Juice from 2 limes
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
Mix all the ingredients, rub it on skin and wash it away. That's it! And, while I was tempted to spike my leftovers with rum, I stashed them in a mason jar in the fridge to finish in a few days or let the other ladies in the house give it a shot :)

Give it a try!! Let me know what you think!!

Smooth & Fight Acne Skin Mask

Yogurt is amazing for your skin!!  It moisturizes and firms the skin!!

Greek Yogurt has more protein and less sugar than other yogurts, making it the best refrigerator facial option. Orange juice and orange peel are very active antibacterials, helping to fight acne, exfoliating dead skin, lightening dark spots, and unveiling your natural glow. Combine 1 tbsp yogurt with ¼ squeezed orange juice and a few spritzes of essence from the peel.

Smear it all over your face and let it sit for about 15 minutes.

This is a good time to use the rest of the orange for a chaser w. your tequila

 Wash off with warm water.

~Mel you can't use this face mask!!  Your face already glows :)~

Infamous bus from "Into The Wild"

In 1993, an adventure writer named Jon Krakauer, wrote an article for Outside magazine about a young man (Christopher McCandless) that was discovered perished in an abandoned 142 Fairbanks City Bus on the Stampede trail in Alaska. The circumstances surrounding this event were so mysterious, it lead to Jon Krakauer spending 3 years thoroughly researching all aspects of the event resulting in his world famous novel 'Into The Wild' in 1996. This was later depicted in the award winning Sean Penn movie of the same name in 2007.

LION HEAD

"Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.”

An exciting, glacier fed, class IV & V Alaska whitewater rafting trip next to the 27 mile long Matanuska Glacier. The main rapids are several miles long and the result of a squeeze play between the glaciers lateral moraine and “Lion Head”, a massive basalt rock wall from an ancient volcanic plug. COLD AND CRAZY FUN!!!
